Our Ombré Brows for Beginners course is perfect for anyone who wants to take their first steps into the PMU world.
It’s a 3-day face to face, in-depth course designed by Joelle for absolute beginners. Whether you have no experience in beauty industry or you are a beauty therapist, MUA or brow artist already, you will be given the knowledge and tools to build your PMU empire.

Course Agenda
Our ombre brows for beginners course has 3-days face to face learning. Over these 3-days we strive to give you the fundamentals in creating beautiful ombre/powder brows. The course will give you the foundation to flourish into a quality brow artist.
Before attending the face to face course days you will have access to your online pre-study via our E-learning portal giving you the opportunity to start learning and practicing at home.
What will you learn during your 3-days?
This day is absolutely jam-packed with information. Make sure you get a good night sleep and plenty of coffee.
This is the theory day and we will cover the followings topics:
- Introduction to micropigmentation
- Infection control
- Blood borne pathogens
- Industry standards
- Legal requirements
- Contra-indications
- Contra-actions
- Skin anatomy
- Skin healing
- Facial anatomy & physiology
- Facial morphology & eyebrow design
- Skin types & tones
- Colour theory & pigment selection
- Brow mapping
- Various hand movements and techniques on latex mats
A lot to cover, but don’t worry, you will touch on a lot of this in your pre-study before coming to class. So, you won’t be completely new to a lot of this stuff by the time your course comes around.
This day is a very fun hands on day.
In the morning before Joelle’s demo model arrives we run a workshop on the following topics:
- Client consultations
- Client care
- Customer service standards
After this workshop, you will watch Joelle complete her live demo model. During this section we will cover:
- Trolley setup
- Brow mapping techniques
- Skin stretching
In the afternoon, you will complete a full practice treatment on dummy head and latex mats. Getting you ready for day three.
The final day of the course is the practical day. On this day you will complete 1 live model under Joelle’s and our assistant trainers supervision.
Upon completing this final day, you will be awarded your certificate of attendance and head off into the industry to get started with your case studies. However, you won’t be alone, we pride ourselves on our post-course support. You’re a student for life and a part of The Brow Specialist Academy family.
Pricing
The Digital Machine for Beginners course is £2,500 (everything included, no extra fees/costs, this also includes VAT!)
This can be paid 2 ways:
1) £500 deposit to book your course space and then the remaining balance of £2,000 must be paid 4-weeks before the course commencement date.
2) Use our finance partner, Payl8r. They offer flexible finance plans over 3, 6, 9 or 12-month periods. They require a 20% upfront deposit of the total (£380) and the remaining balance of £1,520 will be paid monthly from as little as £150 per month.
Things to remember:
With finance there is interest and you must have good credit to be approved.
All payments towards courses are non-refundable. You may reschedule your course date if you give a minimum of 4-weeks notice.
